2012 Islamorada Sailfish Tournament

It is with great pride that I invite you to join us for the 49th Annual Islamorada Sailfish Tournament. The party kicks off on November 29th with fishing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The tournament is the primary fundraiser for the Islamorada Charter Boat Association, a 501-c-3 organization. 

This year the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament offers you the opportunity to register before November 12th and save on entry fees. 

New anglers and old friends come to Islamorada every year to participate in this prestigious event. The Islamorada Sailfish Tournament is the first leg of the coveted Florida Keys Gold Cup Sailfish Championship that includes the Cheeca Lodge Presidential Sailfish Tournament and the Islamorada Fishing Clubs January Sailfish Tournament. If you intend to fish in the Gold Cup Series you must register for the Gold Cup Tournament by November 1st to be guaranteed a spot in the Cheeca and Fishing Club's Tournaments! 

Once again, Whale Harbor Inn & Marina, located at MM 83, will host the Islamorada Sailfish Tournament. The all you can eat seafood buffet with stone crabs added will kick of this year's event. Whale Harbor's Braza Lena Brazilian Steak House will amaze you with another all you can eat feast during our awards ceremony. As tournament headquarters, Whale Harbor will be home to the tournament Committee Boat. We invite your friends and family to stop by for up to the minute tournament results and listen for live updates on the radio, or follow us on the web. 261 Sailfish were released out of the 336 called in hook ups last year. Let's hope this year will produce as many if not more releases.
